This addresses a potential issue that can occur when using the autofill feature on certain devices. Sometimes, after your autofill has added the required information, the volume discount (if applicable) and shipping options may not be displayed in the Calculate Shipping Cost or Payment Method panes of the checkout page. If this happens, the solution is to re-enter the Delivery Zip Code, which will trigger a recalculation of the discount (if applicable - usually for orders over $1000) and shipping. Look for the small spinning blue circle to confirm the recalculation. This is a rare occurrence and should not affect most users.
No, but the AccuQuote shopping cart calculates volume discounts based on various factors like the amount purchased, brand, proximity to warehouse(s), and shipping charges. These discounts are available at all times, so you can take your time shopping without feeling rushed to make a decision before a "sale" ends. It's our way of providing you a stress-free shopping experience.
None.
California residents will be charged sales tax on their purchase. Sales tax for other states will vary based on the products added to your cart. To determine if sales tax applies to your order, simply enter your state and zip code for the Delivery Address on the Checkout Page. No other personal information is necessary. Any applicable sales tax will be displayed in the Payment Method section of the same Checkout Page.
When paying by credit card, the sale amount is authorized upon order submission, resulting in a pending charge that reduces your credit line. However, no actual charge will take place until the order is shipped or transferred between warehouses. On the other hand, if paying with PayPal, the payment is charged immediately upon order submission.
Many of our products offer samples, which can be ordered by clicking on the "order sample" link located in the Description Area of the product page. However, if there is no link provided, we do not currently offer samples for that particular product. See here: https://onflooring.com/sample-catalog
When our competitors offer "free" shipping, it often means that the shipping cost has been added to the product price. At OnFlooring, we believe in transparency. Our prices reflect the actual cost of the product plus shipping, and we're confident that our final prices, after discounts and shipping, are highly competitive.
For orders over $4000.00, we strive to match the price of identical products and shipping (including residential delivery and lift gate) from a competitor's website. We can do this if we can replicate the shopping cart on their site. To initiate a price match request, simply create a cart on our website and select "price match" as the category when contacting us through our contact page.
Yes, all ONFLOORING products are first quality. We do not sell seconds or cabin grade. Our state of the art eCommerce platform reduces our costs and we pass the savings on to you.
Pick-up locations are limited to specific brands and geographic areas. Once you provide your zip code and state, the nearest location(s) will be displayed on the checkout page or at the bottom of the shopping cart. Please note that these locations are not retail stores, but rather distribution warehouses or freight terminals. It is important to keep in mind that only pickup trucks or vans with appropriate cargo ratings for the weight of your order are permitted; passenger vehicles are not allowed.
No, its simply rounds up to the nearest full carton. You should add 3%-10% for waste depending on the size and configuration of your rooms.
Yes, floating floors tend to sound a bit more hollow than a glued or nailed flooring, most notably when walked on with hard sole dress shoes. Whether this different sound is a negative or positive is completely subjective. If you dislike the more hollow sound, an upgraded sound control underlay will help.
With a few caveats, yes. You should not install laminate flooring in a room with a drain, a sauna or a 4-season covered patio. For moisture protection in wet rooms, the entire perimeter expansion gap should be filled with a pure silicone sealant. This added step is a requirement for the Mohawk RevWood Plus waterproof laminate flooring warranty.
