Mohawk’s Vintage Elements features a brilliant combination of wire-brushed and cerused oak on a 7-INCH wide plank. Wire brushing pulls the soft grain out, leaving the heart wood exposed to the surface to reveal every grain.The visual contrast between the wood and grain is striking. The ultra-matte surface finish doesn't reflect a lot of light so scratches, even those made by pets and foot traffic, tend to blend in with the texture of the hardwood.
Vintage Elements features Mohawk's new Enhanced Engineered Construction (EEC) . EEC makes engineered hardwood products that are more stable, denser, heavier and flatter than typical engineered hardwood products. Along with benefits that make installation even more precise, these hardwood products are more environmentally responsible than ever before.
