If your intent is to understand the general concept of installing glueless floating floors, there are five broad steps:

1. Insure you have a firm, stable and clean subfloor
2. Install the underlayment
3. Use spacers to form an expansion gap
4. "Rack" the first few rows and make sure they are square to the room
5. Continue engaging panels until complete
